                            Myth of the Phoenix
There is no actually a proven fact about the phoenix flying from its ashes. I do not even know if there is such a bird. However, I know that in life there comes a time where you need to act like one. Be able get up from your ashes and fly. We stumble and fall at some point. Be it a smashing hard one or even the little one like slipping from your chair. Nevertheless, in the end it all depends on how reflexive we can act. If not a real fast one, it is a given that we will turn to ashes. May be we have not even realized that we have fallen just yet. We thought we are standing strong like the mountains of the earth enjoying the clouds flying over our heads. Reality heats at some point that we are neither standing nor enjoying the clouds. When that moment comes, do we need to stay where we are or do we need to get up and fly from the ashes of our pathetic life?
Like the poet wrote, “If winter is here, can spring be far behind?” if we realized our fall, can our rising back take too long? I know rising up is not easy. It is not as if one can do it in a blink of an eye. It might take months or may be even years. We may even look around for someone to help us get back up. Hold our hands and give us a pull. We might not find that someone. None of those people whom we put our trust on might be around. May be they themselves have fallen or they have forgotten all about us because we were down for too long. It might feel like water is everywhere, but we could not find a drop to drink. Now chances are to find something strong to help us get back up. Like a child learning to walk for the first time holds on to materials around, we have to find that material of ours to help us learn walk again. I know there is this huge feeling of accomplishment and independence in doing so - in finding that material and walking. What better feeling can we ask for than feeling independent and accomplished? Now we can shout to the world “the phoenix has risen again!”

                                   Have a safe flight!
